Medical and Dental Volunteers - The heart & soul of TCHP!

Tri City Health Partnership is only able to provide free services to those in need with the help from compassionate individuals. We are currently seeking volunteers in the medical and dental fields. Whether you come to the clinic and treat on-site, or can see patients at your office on a referral basis, know that you will have an impact on the lives of neighbors in the community.
A Clinical Director and Dental Program Manager oversee the programs and available for questions. Ready to learn more? Click here to fill out a short contact form!

Medical: Primary Care - MD, DO, NP & RN's typically volunteer for 2-3 hours every month or 2,
and will see 8-1O patients a day. RN's and NP's will triage and assist the physician and Clinical Director. A full-time NP is onsite to assist.

Dental: Dentists, Hygienists and assistants treat for both preventive and restorative care. The dental program typically runs Monday, Wednesday & Friday, but can adjust based on your needs.

Off-Site Referral Specialists: Orthopedics, Oncology, Surgeons, Dermatology, Urology Physical Therapy, Dentists & Oral Surgeons, etc. On-site physicians determine referall needs. Typically, referral specialists treat a predefined number of patients (1 a month, 4 a year, etc).

Malpractice Risks: Volunteer medical providers are exempt from liability under IL Good Samaritan Statute (HB 355 Section 31). Volunteer dental professionals are exempt from liability under IL Good Samaritan Statute (745 ILCS 49/20).

Donations

A contribution makes a difference in the health of a local resident in need. Funding supports the purchase of medication, supplies, and equipment, and helps to defray operating expenses. Our services are free to those who qualify; therefore, we are dependent upon donations from individuals, private trusts, service clubs, foundations, churches, and organizations like the United Way. TCHP does not receive state or federal funding or any reimbursements from Medicare, Medicaid, or third party payers.

Tri City Health Partnership is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. We acknowledge all tax-deductible donations with a letter from the clinic. Please check with your accountant if you have questions about deducting charitable contributions. It is an honor to provide our services on your behalf.

Many times we can use items to help run the clinic run smoothly. Typically we can always use:

  • Unexpired, unopened medications
  • $10 Gift Cards for Meier, WalMart, Walgreens, CVS
  • Items for our blessing box: toiletries, feminine products, food items
  • New home-blood pressure monitors, diabetic desting machines

Thank you for helping us serve those in our community without adequate medical care. Make checks out to Tri City Health Partnership or TCHP.

Designating Estate Assets to TCHP

People occasionally call the clinic asking about designating estate assets to TCHP. You can designate estate assets to family, friends, and charitable organizations, such as ours. This option allows individuals to give a significant gift to a cause that is important to them without making that sacrifice during your life. Planned giving integrates your charitable gift as part of your overall financial, tax, and estate planning goals to maximize benefits to both you and the charitable organization of your choice.
